Amit Nandan Periyapatna is a skilled Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working at Chewy as a Full-Stack Developer, where he has been instrumental in developing and delivering web applications. Amit has a strong background in software engineering, web development, ETL, infrastructure, and machine learning, which has enabled him to excel in his career. Amit's past experience includes working at Homespotter as a Software Engineer, where he developed ETL pipelines for ingesting and delivering real estate data across 500 MLSes to customers. He also worked on the Boost Platform to deliver web and social ads, migrated the infrastructure to be managed through GitHub, and worked on delivering data through GraphQL. At MRW Creations, Amit worked as a Web Developer, where he migrated application deployment into the TravisCI platform for releases. He was responsible for the complete data analysis life cycle from harvesting to transforming to analyzing data and fitting them into different machine learning algorithms, enabling business stakeholders to better understand the company activities. He also developed animations using EaselJS libraries on generated sprite sheets and contributed to developing open-source plugins for OpenCart.
